“I’m Abigail, owner and Holistic Therapist at The Therapy Room in Thirsk. After qualifying in massage therapy in 2017 at the Central School of Health and Beauty, I established The Therapy Room to provide professional holistic treatments focused on both physical and emotional wellbeing.

My background in dance first sparked my interest in how the body responds to movement, recovery and massage therapy. Since then, I have continued to expand my knowledge through ongoing professional training, including oncology massage and specialised holistic therapies.”

Simon Spence, Holistic Therapist

Simon brings a strong understanding of physical recovery and wellbeing through his background in sport, endurance running and military service. His interest in holistic therapy developed through first-hand experience of how massage supports recovery, mobility and overall wellbeing.

Alongside his counselling training, Simon has developed a holistic approach that recognises the close connection between physical and mental wellbeing.
